Originally founded as a folk-pop band, the Swiss band Wintershome has evolved into a musical phenomenon against the picturesque backdrop of Zermatt. Their debut album “Around You I Found You”, released in spring 2018, was a powerful start that captured the essence of their homeland with folk arrangements and harmonious vocals. The majestic mountains, snow-covered winters, and humanity's deep-rooted connection to the earth came alive in their melodies. Both audiences and critics were equally enthusiastic, and soon Wintershome conquered not only small clubs but also large open-air stages like Gurten, Zürich Openair, and Montreux Jazz Festival.

However, this sudden rise was abruptly halted by the pandemic. Yet in autumn 2023, Wintershome returned with their second album “Below Zero”. This work thrives on its musical breadth. The band combines their characteristic folk-pop aesthetic with fresh influences. The lightness of the debut album gives way to a certain seriousness. The lyrics are shaped by the pandemic era, prompting reflection on individual fates and the meaning of life.

With their new single “Already Loved”, Wintershome proves they are ready to ascend to the next level of their artistic journey – and the audience will not be disappointed.
