“The Spirit of Christmas” is the new holiday anthem by Tiger Lyn that everyone is talking about. With its heartfelt message that we should have “The Spirit of Christmas” every day of the year, the song is becoming a movement that is inspiring millions around the globe.

Tiger Lyn is a songwriter, lyricist, actor, and poet. She sings and writes in many different styles and genres of music. Growing up in Central Oregon, she was musically inclined from a very young age, which naturally led her to musical theater. From first grade through high school and beyond into community theater, Tiger was actively involved in performing arts. At the age of 18, she wrote her first songs and began raising a large family. After the birth of her seventh child, at age 31, she went on the road performing her original songs and cover tunes in the Portland/Salem area.

Tiger later performed at casinos in Lake Tahoe, Reno, and Sparks, NV – first as part of a duo called “Soul Fire”, then forming her own family band with three of her daughters called “Turquoise”, which became one of the top ten acts in the area. After leaving the Tahoe/Reno area, she moved to San Francisco, where she had the privilege of meeting multi-platinum award-winning producer Narada Michael Walden, known for producing Whitney Houston’s soundtrack for “The Bodyguard” and co-writing hits like “Freeway of Love” by Aretha Franklin.

In 2013, Tiger was blessed with the opportunity to write and produce her first album, “Soul Fire”, with Narada’s guidance. Released in 2014, the album features a collection of her original songs spanning various styles and genres.

Now back in Central Oregon, Tiger works as a solo artist and rehearses with two groups: a pure Country band and a Blues and Soul band that performs a mix of original material and classics. Here, she continues to refine and perform her album cuts. Tiger’s ultimate goal is to write songs, perform, and build a career doing what she loves most: music.
