ELIF SANCHEZ'S MAGNIFICENT SINGLE "BÄ°R ZAMANLAR" FOR VALENTINE'S DAY

Elif Sanchez's new single "Bir Zamanlar," a herald of her album "Stages of Love" featuring her original songs in Turkish, English, and Spanish, released on February 21st, is out on February 14th, Valentine's Day, under the Pasion Turca label!

Coming from a musical family and receiving musical training from her family until the age of 10, Elif Sanchez graduated from Istanbul State Conservatory with a high honors award. In 2017, she graduated from Berklee College of Music, winning the Bill Pierce Award and the Mediterranean Music Institute Award.

Following her self-titled debut album in 2021, which blended Turkish Folk Music, Classical Music, and Jazz training with her musical style, and her unique interpretations of the most beloved folk songs of Anatolia and Azerbaijan, Sanchez made a big splash with "Vuelve (KurÅŸun Adres Sormaz Ki)," a duet with Kenan DoÄŸulu, featured on her second album "MI VOZ," produced by 11-time Grammy Award-winning, multi-Gold and Platinum record holder, world-renowned composer, guitarist, and producer Javier Limon.

Elif Sanchez, who subsequently released "Tres Palabras" with Paul Sanchez and "A Donde Te Has Ido" from Javier Limon's "Viajeras" album, brought Selami Şahin's song "Benim İçin Öldün Artık" to life with her unique interpretation on the "Selami Şahin Şarkıları 1" album, which featured valuable names in the 57th year of Selami Şahin's artistic career. She recorded two songs with world-renowned Alfredo Rodriguez, and the duo released "Besame Mucho" as a single.

" 'Bir Zamanlar' is a very, very special song for me. In fact, its foundations were laid 10 years ago, but it was destined for today. It was the first two months of my relationship with my husband Paul, and we were both very much in love with each other. We spent every moment together, we did everything together. Then, he went to Ecuador for a few weeks to give concerts. We missed each other very much and spent every minute writing to each other. Although it wasn't a long separation, we dramatized it a bit too much with the excitement of new feelings, of course. :)" He wrote the main melody of 'Bir Zamanlar' (Habia Una Vez) thinking of me and sent it to me. I added and changed a few things on the melody and wrote the lyrics and sent it back to him. This was the first song we wrote together," says Elif Sanchez.
